Student Position: Peer Tutor 3
Responsibilities:
- Occasional outreach activities or side projects such as visiting classes and conducting workshops required
- Create initiatives/participate in promoting the Writing Center to the NU-Q community
- Acting as a writing tutor for students at NU-Q, especially with higher classes (Juniors and Seniors)
- Mentoring and assisting other peer tutors
- Ability to conduct workshops independently
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have worked at the Writing Center for two academic years
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be self-driven and has native oral and written English proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills, including a clear understanding of grammar
- Exemplary ethics and integrity
