Job Titles and Descriptions

An hourly wage for each job title should be calculated based on job responsibilities and level of experience. The below categories should serve as a general guideline for assigning hourly wages and may be associated with a wage range indicative of responsibility, skill, job difficulty, or experience necessary to perform the tasks required by that position. Kronos timesheets need to accurately reflect the hours the student has worked. The submission/approval of falsely worked hours will result in a loss of privilege to use the Student Employment program at NU-Q.

Please review the job titles and descriptions below and find the one that best fits your position needs and requirements. The below descriptions are for example purposes only and they are not set responsibilities or qualifications. The main purpose they hold is in assisting supervisors in creating job postings and selecting job levels when hiring students by providing general examples.
