Student Position: Course Assistant 2: Intro to Science and Technology Studies (STS)

Responsibilities:

Assist in keeping careful records of student attendance
Assist in organizing in-class activities
Assist in finding supplementary course materials
Be available to communicate with students both in-person and online
Be available to attend all classes on Monday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 9:45am
Assist in creating modules on Canvas
Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
Only students who have previously taken Intro to Science and Technology Studies and earned an B+ or higher are eligible to apply

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multitask, initiate and follow-through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time.
Display strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Capacity to work professionally with peers
Knowledge of CANVAS

Pay rate: QR50 per hour
