3 month period Process Overview

Step 1

  • Meeting with Career Services
    • Based on fellowship eligibility criteria, Career Services will guide you through the fellowship application process, and assist you in creating a personalized application plan.

Step 2
  • Your personalized application plan may include individual meetings with resources across the university, such as:
    • Institute for Advanced Study in the Global South (#IAS_NUQ)
    • Faculty Members
    • Writing Center
    • Research Office

Step 3

  • Students submit final documents to Career Services

Step 4

  • Committee reviews application and notifies students of final decision

Step 5

  • If selected, student receives institutional recommendation and submits fellowship application

Documentation

The final list of documents required for intstitutional recommendation depends on the fellowship that you are considering applying to. In general, you will need to submit the following information to Career Services for consideration:

  • Resume
  • GPA / Graduation Year
  • Letter of Interest/Statement
  • Names of individuals who will write letters of recommendation on your behalf
