Student Position: Course Assistant 3
Responsibilities:
- Assist in keeping careful records of student attendance
- Manage the input of non-graded work
- Scanning, photocopying, and uploading course materials
- Coordinating library course reserves
- Scheduling student presentations
- Organizing and distributing learning materials
- Other administrative or support functions as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
- Available for both class times (8:30-10:10am and 10:20am-12pm) on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Have previously completed JOUR 100 with a good grade
- Well-versed with Canvas (updating weekly modules, tracking attendance, etc.)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multitask, initiate and follow-through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time.
- Display strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of CANVAS
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to work professionally with peers
- Exemplary study habits and research/production skills
