Student Position: Course Assistant 4 - MIT 298 Intercultural and International Communication
Meeting Times: 10:00-11:15 Sundays and Tuesdays
Key Responsibilities:
- Class Support: Assist professor with in-class activities, Wikipedia project workshops, and technology setup.
- Student Engagement: Facilitate and answer student questions, provide guidance on assignments and projects.
- Content Preparation: Help organize and prepare course materials, such as mutlimedia, handouts and digital tools for workshops.
- Administrative tasks: Manage attendance records, track assignment submissions, and communicate important course updates to students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent academic integrity and conduct standing.
- Knowledge of CANVAS.
- Knowledge of Wikipedia editing interface preferred.
- Interest in intercultural communication a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multitask, initiate and follow-through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time.
- Display strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to work professionally with peers
