Student Position: Course Assistant 4 - GEN_CMN 202 News & Numbers
Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled class sessions and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Take brief notes on the topics covered, class discussions, announcements, assignment instructions, deadlines, and matters requiring follow-up.
- At the instructor’s direction, prepare or send short updates and reminders about what was discussed in class.
- Assist with organising course materials and other routine classroom administration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
- Junior or senior standing preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The student should be reliable, organised, attentive, and able to communicate clearly and accurately in writing.
- Previous coursework in research methods, journalism, data analysis, or a related area is desirable.
- Familiarity with Canvas is preferred
