Student Position: Course Assistant 4 - JOUR 324 Video Producing
Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled class sessions and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Take brief notes on the topics covered, production instructions, assignment requirements, deadlines, and matters requiring follow-up.
- At the instructor’s direction, prepare or send short class updates and reminders.
- Assist with organising course materials, production schedules, and routine classroom or production-related administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
- Junior or senior standing preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The student should be reliable, organised, attentive, and able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Previous coursework or experience in journalism, video production, or broadcast production is desirable.
- Familiarity with Canvas and basic production workflows is preferred
