Student Position: Course Assistant 4 - JOUR 301
Class meets MW 10:00 – 11:15 A.M.
Responsibilities:
- Attend ALL class sessions MW 10-11:15 a.m.
- Take attendance and keep accurate record on Canvas up to date
- Assist with classroom technology (podium laptop)
- Communicate with students about assignments, attendance as directed by professor
- Assist students with podcast, video assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to attend ALL class sessions MW 10-11:15 a.m
- Junior or senior standing; must have completed JOUR 301
required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Canvas, including roll call attendance
- Proficient in classroom technology (podium laptop)
- Proficient in audio (podcast) and video production
- Ability to multitask, initiate and follow through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time
