Student Position: Course Assistant 4
Seeking a course assistant for JOUR 390: Fashion Journalism. This class is on Mon and Wed from 8:30am to 9:45am in room NUQ 2-256.
Responsibilities
- Assist with trouble shooting equipment and other technical problems with students
- Assist in keeping careful records of student attendance
- Manage the input of non-graded work
- Scanning, photocopying, and uploading course materials
- Coordinating library course reserves
- Scheduling student presentations
- Organizing and distributing learning materials
- Other administrative or support functions as assigned
- Design Canvas learning modules at the instructor’s direction
- Mentorship of student peers in library research, production, or other study skills
- Provide feedback to Instructor on Course Development and Assessment based on previous experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
- CA must be available to attend M&W classes from 8:30am-9:45am.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journalism majors preferred but not required.

- Display strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of CANVAS
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to work professionally with peers
