Student Position: Research Assistant 2

Responsibilities

• Develop digital video files for various courses

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects in various stages of development

• Assist in designing and managing other research projects

Minimum qualifications

• Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing (minimum of 3.5 GPA)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good understanding of digital video file formats, management, and editing
• Good understanding of Blu-ray hardware and software
• Strong grasp of film analysis and history
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to interpret relevant materials and to perform research activities successfully
• Robust administrative experience, including an eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work alongside faculty in a collegial manner
• Demonstrated ability to follow up on projects, to plan, and to manage time-sensitive matters
