Student Position: Research Assistant 3

Professor Larissa Buchholz (Northwestern University School of Communication) is seeking 4-5 research assistants to help prepare and support interviews with artists, collectors, curators, and other cultural professionals in Qatar during her two-month Global Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Global South at Northwestern University in Qatar (#IAS_NUQ). The work forms part of a larger comparative study on the development of contemporary art scenes and collecting cultures in Qatar, China, and Mexico, exploring how contemporary art communities, collecting practices, and cultural institutions emerge and evolve over time.

No prior research knowledge is necessary. The professor will guide students through the specific procedures, providing valuable learning experience and the opportunity to witness an empirical interview study unfold while acquiring related research skills.
