Applications of AI in Strategic Communication
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Research
- Develop case study presentations
- Develop presentations from academic sources (peer-reviewed journals, conference papers in strategic communication and AI).
- Apply basic research strategies and techniques (literature reviews, etc.)
- Conduct preliminary research on given topics, to aid the professor in developing course content.
- Write summary research reports related to AI-enabled strategic communication
- Other a tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic standing
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Junior or Senior
- Completed StratCom 305
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in AI (e.g., completed an AI-related research project or proficiency with AI tools beyond ChatGPT) OR
- Data science competencies OR
- AI minor/StratCom Minor
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Substantial coursework or experience in the field.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret the required materials and to perform successful research activities.
- Sound administrative experience and familiarity with the subject matter.
- High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work alongside faculty in a collegial manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on projects, to plan proactively, and to manage time-sensitive matters.
