Student Position: Research Assistant 4
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the research and development phase of an upcoming documentary film by conducting focused research and helping organize materials in a clear, useful way for the creative and editorial process.
- Gather background information, data, academic sources, news articles, and other relevant materials that can inform the documentary's subjects, themes, and overall development.
- Shift through and summarize English and Urdu-language media content, including news articles, broadcasts, and online sources, extracting key information relevant to the project.
- Find and curate contact information of people, places and organizations relevant to the project
required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Strong research and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize information clearly and efficiently across both English and Urdu sources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and tracking.
- Good academic standing with prior research or production experience preferred
